ipod

I hate the telephone and my ipod hates me

Phones are absolutely the worst invention ever. Well, excpet without phones we wouldn't have Internet and I love my silent Internet. But here I am on my day off... up at the unG-dly hour of 6 a.m. and I put on a S1 OC DVD and well, yup, fall asleep to it. And the damn phone doesn't stop. My brother wants to know if he can go to my grandmother... um, why not? Not much time left dear brother. Will you also call when you need to go to the bathroom? Mother needs phone numbers. Use the Internet. They're all there. There were other phone calls, I didn't pick up. Instead, I buried my head under my pillow, but damn it's loud. It rang and rang and rang so I'm giving up on sleep.
And before everyone tells me to turn off the ringer. I don't do that. Because then something important will happen and no one will be able to get in touch. I've always been like this. It's not just current circumstance.
Now to my ipod. My ipod hates me. itunes won't import my songs. Neither will real player and neither will windows media player. I try and I try and I try. real player says there are 400 some odd songs - 2GB on the *&!#@ device. The ipod says otherwise. I want my songs on it. What should I do? Should I clear all the songs and start from scratch? I don't know why it doesn't like me. I pet it. I feed it. I'm good to it. I want more songs on my ipod.
